BEE MICRONEEDLED BEFORE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Inform your Bee Waxed esthetician before your treatment.
• No Retin-A products or applications for 1 week prior to treatment
• No Auto-immune therapies or products for 1 month prior to treatment
• No prolonged sun exposure or sun burns to the treatment area 3 days prior to treatment
• If an active or extreme breakout occurs before treatment, evaluate on a case-by-case basis.

MICRONEEDLING AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Preparing the skin for this procedure will ensure optimum results. Healthy skin will respond better and results will last longer. Skin cells needs nutrients for best function and Bee Waxed Cosmetics recommended anti-aging regime should include:

• Use cleanser BEE FRESH or BEE CLEAN
• Use toner BEE RESTORED or BEE PURE
• Use topical vitamin C BEE VITAL
• Use topical defensil serum BEE CALM
• Use peptides BEE RADIANT
• Use topical growth factors BEE VITAL and/or BEE CALM
• Apply our sunscreen BEE PROTECTED
• To ensure proper healing do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), scrubs or anything perceived as “active” skincare for one week post treatment
• Do not use any powered cleansing brush like clarisonic for one week post treatment
• Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for 72 hours
• No tanning beds
• Always wear sunscreen
• Do not go swimming for at least 72 hours post-treatment
• Do not perform any extraneous exercise for at least 12 hours after treatment
• Do not apply make-up for at least 12 hours after the treatment
• BEE MICRONEEDLED may trigger a cold sore response in clients and a prophylaxis medication should be recommended to those who are prone to breakouts.
• Wash the face thoroughly a few hours after treatment. Gently massage the face with tepid water, and remove all serum and other debris such as dried blood
• Days 1-3 days the skin will feel very dry and be tight: use our BEE CALM SERUM and/or BEE VITAL
• After 2-3 days clients can return to there regular skincare routine
• Avoid alcohol based toners 10-14 days.
• Do not exercise or participate in strenuous activity for the first 72 hours post treatment. Sweating and gym environments in general are harmful and filled with bacteria, which may cause adverse reaction in your skin.

PROGRESS OF YOUR SKIN AFTER A MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT:

Day 1: Erythema, red appearance and severity will depend upon how aggressive the treatment was performed.

Day 2: A red hue or pink hue persists like a moderate sunburn. Swelling may be more noticeable on the second day.

Day 3: Skin can be pink or normal color, swelling subsides.

After the treatment, take precautions against sun exposure.

DO NOT APPLY SUNSCREEN FOR 12 HOURS AFTER THE MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT DUE TO THE SKINS CHANNELS BEING OPEN FOR A PERIOD OF TIME AND DUE TO THE TOXIC NATURE OF SOME SUNSCREENS ON THE MARKET.

MICRONEEDLING CANCELLATION POLICY

These appointments take considerable time. We require 48 hours of notice cancellation. Cancellations with less than 48 hours will result in losing your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours the full deposit will be non-refundable. Please contact us if you are not able to make your appointment. Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment to fill out any paperwork. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE ARRIVALS.

RESCHEDULING

We require 48 hours of notice for rescheduling. Recheduling within less than 48 hours will result in losing your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours the full deposit will be non-refundable.

NO SHOWS

If you fail to show up to your appointment your deposit will be lost for that appointment.
