Microblading procedures normally require multiple treatments sessions. For best results, clients will be required to return for at least one re-touch appointment. This will take place between 0- 3 months after the initial procedure. Please be prepared that color intensity will be significantly darker and sharper immediately after the procedure. This will reduce by 30%-50% Touch ups are highly recommended to maintain brow tattoos and results will vary from person to person depending on skin type and color use. A touch up is required within 0-3 months. This should be scheduled after your initial microblading service. Do not expect perfect results after the first session. Darker skin women, semi-permanent pigment will not look as bold or sharp compared to lighter skin clients. Oily skin types will tend to fade quicker than dryer skin types. This is why we highly encourage you to make your appointment within the suggested time period.

MICROBLADING BEFORE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Stop using any skin thinners such as vitamin A, glycolic acid, and exfoliation on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
• Any waxing, threading or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days in advance.
• Tinting should be at least one week in advance.
• Cosmetic Botox or fillers should be done one week in advance.
• DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL, CAFFEINE, OR TAKE ANY BLOOD THINNERS (aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin) 48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE- this will promote excess bleeding and may affect your results. Consult your physician if you are taking prescription blood thinners.
• You may experience hypersensitivity or more pain around or during your menstrual cycle. We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, or moles in or around the brow area.
• If you regularly fill in your brows come with eyebrows filled to desire thickness.

MICROBLADING AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

WHAT TO DO AFTER MICROBLADING SERVICE

ON DAY 1 before bed, use a damp cotton pad and gently blot your brow tattoo, and then apply a thin layer of A & D ointment with a qui-tip

AVOID GETTING YOUR BROWS WET IN THE SHOWER

ON DAYS 2-4 clean your brows 2-3 times a day using a damp cotton and apply a thin layer of A & D ointment every morning and night

ON DAYS 5-14 continue cleaning your brows 2-3 times a day with a damp cotton pad and use a non-fragrance/non-alcohol moisturizer (Bee Waxed Cosmetics BEE CALM DEFENSIL SERUM AND/OR BEE COOL BARRIER PROTECTION CREAM) as needed if the area feels tight or appears dry.

WHAT TO AVOID DURING HEALING

There are several things that you will want to keep away from while your brows are still fresh. Keep in mind that you have an open wound on your face. Just like a tattoo, you will want to be super gentle with the microbladed area.

• No Rubbing, Scrubbing or Scratching
• Do not apply makeup to brows
• No soaps when cleaning your eyebrows…just water
• Keep from touching your brows
• Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks (wear a hate if outside for long periods of time)
• Stay away from sweat causing sweat activities such as sorts, excessive workouts or saunas
• No submerging underwater such as in a swimming pool

POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS

*Please note your brows will appear 40% bolder for the first week until they heal. When you shed this bold layer they will end up fine hair-like lines. It may seem spotty for a day during this shed process and it will appear as if you have lost all pigment, you haven’t. Call to make touchup appt once this process is finished.

*Apply A&D ointment sparingly to treated area, twice daily for 7 days. *Apply A&D ointment on to treated area before showering or washing face. Do not use soaps or facial cleansers on treated area for 7 days. After 7 days use our BEE CALM DEFENSIL SERUM or BEE COOL BARRIER PROTECTION CREAM.

*Do not rub or pick at treated area, allow it to flake off on its own. This process is usually around 4-8 days after procedure day and only lasts about 1-2 days.

*Do not soak treated area in a bath, swimming pool, or hot tub for two weeks following your procedure.

*Do not swim in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water for 7 days after your procedure.

*After 7 days gently rinse treated area with a mild anti bacterial soap. Rinse with water and gently pat the area dry.

*To prevent fading to treated area it is recommended to apply BEE PROTECTED to treated area any time you will be in the sun or tanning bed. (Wait at least 1 week after your procedure)

*You will not be allowed to donate blood for 1 calendar year following your procedure, per guidelines of the American Red Cross.

 Failure to follow post procedure instructions may result in loss of pigment, discoloration, or infection. Remember that the colors will appear brighter immediately following the procedure and will soften as the healing process occurs. A touch up procedure will be necessary within 1st 6 weeks, so please call and schedule an appointment. Post procedure follow up cannot be performed before 4 weeks.

MICROBLADING CANCELLATION POLICY

These appointments take considerable time, we require 48 hours of notice for cancellation. Cancellations with less than 48 hours will result in losing your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours, the full deposit will be non-refundable.

Please contact us if you are not able to make your appointment. Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment to fill out any paperwork.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE ARRIVALS.

RESCHEDULING

We require 48 hours of notice for rescheduling. Rescheduling within less than 48 hours will result in losing your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours, the full deposit will be non- refundable.

NO SHOWS

If you fail to show up to your appointment your deposit will be lost for that appointment. We respect your time, please respect ours.
